Derek Frankhouser was born in 1988 in Illinois. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Missouri in 2011 and was awarded a J. William Fulbright Grant to Germany in 2012. He develops projects in a variety of media including drawing, printmaking, motion picture, and sculpture. He lives and works in New York City.
